Port Salford is a £138 million development, led by The Peel Group in partnership with Salford City Council that will create a new port and warehousing facility in Barton, next to the Manchester Ship Canal.
To make the Port Salford scheme possible, a major programme of highway improvements will take place and Bethell have been selected to construct the new signalised junction on the A57 dual carriageway to provide HGV access to the new port facility. Works are expected to commence in February and completion of the new junction is planned for August 2015.
