Bethell win 50th Contract Award from Aldi

There was nothing too remarkable about the recent award of a £140,000 contract package for groundworks to an Aldi store extension at Salop Street in Liverpool except for the fact that this was Bethell’s 50^th successful contract win for the German retail group.

Bethell have been involved in Aldi’s incredible success story since 2007 when we were first successful with a bid to construct a new sewer diversion for a planned store at Ellesmere Port. In the past nine years we have undertaken many different civil engineering packages many exceeding £1.0m in value. We hope to continue being a part of their success story as they plan to construct up to 65 new stores per year across the UK.
