GRIDSERVE deliver net-zero transport through their Sun-to-Wheel platform: developing, delivering, and operating electric vehicle charging networks powered by solar energy and batteries.

In partnership with GRIDSERVE, Bethell was initially contracted to facilitate the installation of EV chargers across three sites.

We delivered a full turn-key package from point of connection (POC), through to on-site LV panel, followed by the implementation of chargers and all associated civils requirements, to final testing and commissioning of chargers.

In total, the scope of works included: 

• HV Point of connection (POC) 
• New sub-station build and installation 
• LV/HV installation 
• Installation of free-standing 2500 LV feeder pillar 
• Installation of DC rectifiers and associated EV charging equipment 
• Internal & external cabling inclusive of containment throughout schemes
• SCADA installation and commission
• Fibre installation works
• Trough works
• Reinstatement 
• Installation of vehicle stops
• Installation of signage and parking bay marking 
• Electrical testing 
• Installation and commissioning of charging units
