Police Station, Newton-le-Willows

Bethell Utility Services was appointed by Morris & Spottiswood to design and construct a new low voltage (LV) electricity network for the new police station in Newton-le-Willows.

The project involved delivering a new LV electricity connection, terminating in a heavy duty cut out (HDCO) within the building. To facilitate the new supply, our team completed approximately 100 metres of excavation, duct installation and LV cable installation along busy streets surrounding the development.

Alongside the installation works, Bethell supplied and managed all traffic management throughout the project, helping to ensure the works were carried out safely while maintaining access on the surrounding road network.

Regular coordination with Morris & Spottiswood and other key stakeholders was an important part of the project, helping to ensure the new electricity supply was installed and energised to meet the client's target programme.
