Rochdale Road

Supporting the delivery of one of Manchester’s newest residential developments, Bethell Utility Services delivered the design and build of HV & LV electric and water infrastructure for a major scheme on Rochdale Road.

The development included one high-rise block, two low-rise apartment blocks, and four townhouses, providing 237 new homes on the edge of Manchester City Centre.

Working alongside United Utilities and Manchester City Council, Bethell coordinated and delivered the utility infrastructure works within a busy urban environment. As part of the project, Bethell designed, installed, and completed a new 1000kVA basement substation, alongside the installation of HV & LV infrastructure and cable connections to the internal metering systems across all 237 dwellings.

Careful planning and collaboration were essential throughout the works to ensure safe and efficient delivery while maintaining programme timelines.
