Water
Bethell has extensive experience in delivering schemes within the water and wastewater sectors, with the capability to self-install water connections for clients through our in-house design team. We worked for many years with North West Water and then United Utilities at the highest level.
Projects within this sector have involved traditional civil engineering skills such as open-cut trench works, reinforced structures and above-ground pipe installations. Bethell also provides maintenance services such as sewer cleaning, inspections and surveys.
No-Dig Solutions
Our No-Dig Solutions team work with water authorities to deliver network improvements, alleviating the risk of river pollution. This can involve shaft sinking, tunnelling and other no-dig solutions.
The initial focus for this new business stream will be the delivery of key works in United Utilities (UU) Major Capital Projects that Bethell has recently secured.
Due to the importance of this work, we will aim to self-deliver and strengthen our overall offering for water authorities, providing a competitive solution in the marketplace.
Our wastewater division team provides a full service to support our clients’ sewage infrastructure.
Our experience extends to all sectors of the water industry, including work on sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, underground structures and pipelines.
