CO2 reduction in 2020
Health and Safety
‘THINK SAFE – ACT SAFE’ is the uncompromising behavioural safety programme introduced into the Company in 2008.
The message is highly visible in every place that we work and it underpins each and every activity undertaken by our workforce.
All our employees have attended half-day workshops designed to embed this initiative on site and ensure health and safety is always put first. To ensure that this ethos is maintained, regular briefings are held each year to discuss best practice and attendance is mandatory for every employee. Similar briefings are organised for our Supply Chain Partners to ensure that the safety message is communicated at every level.
Our workforce are our greatest asset and our excellent safety record is testament to our 350 employees who have embraced the ‘THINK SAFE – ACT SAFE’ programme through participation in safety forums, becoming Safety Representatives and enthusiastic hazard reporting.
