Luke Selwood appointed as Yorkshire Operations Manager
Bethell Construction welcomes Luke Selwood to our senior management team as Operations Manager for the Yorkshire region!
Luke joins Bethell having worked at Carnell, National Highways, and A-one+, a joint venture between Jacobs, Colas, and Costain Group, that carried out renewal and improvement schemes, including maintenance works for National Highways.
Bringing 20+ years of experience working in the construction industry, Luke will play a vital role in expanding Bethell’s service offering and competence recruitment in the Yorkshire region.
As well as investing in a new regional Yorkshire hub in Morley, Leeds, Luke’s appointment allows Bethell to continue delivering a quality service to local authorities and private clients, with whom we have long-term established relationships following successful project delivery.
Michael Holmes, Managing Director at Bethell Construction and a fellow Yorkshireman himself, commented: “Luke’s recruitment to Bethell is a key milestone in the live 10-year strategic plan, where our footprint across Yorkshire and the multi-faceted works we deliver will further enhance the Bethell brand and presence within the North’s infrastructure sector. Luke’s experience, both contracting and client side, will assist in ensuring true value for our new and existing clients with a forward, can-do attitude. Welcome to the team!”
