Making every ‘tree count’

Everybody has a responsibility to tackle climate change and we were delighted to assist the Woodland Trust with their Big Climate Fightback initiative to plant 17,000 trees in Smithills Estate, Bolton.

Volunteers from Bethell descended on Smithells Estate to take part in the event and plant trees across 1,700 acres of land.

Each tree planted by volunteers help towards tackling climate change, reducing flood risks in the area and creating woodland for local people.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to be involved with this event and contribute in a small way to the Big Climate Fightback.
