Managing Director Designate Appointment

We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Michael Holmes as Managing Director Designate for Bethell Construction.

Michael joins the company on the 28^th September 2020 and will take over the full MD role in due course from Vinny O’Dowd, when he steps down in late 2021/ early 2022 after 10 years at the helm.

Michael joins Bethell from Colas where he was Director of Regional Operations and responsible for a turnover of £120m. Michael has been recruited to compliment the strong skill set of our existing Senior Management team and will work closely with Chief Executive Tim Kilroe and Vinny O’Dowd to ensure a seamless transition.

Michael will initially establish a Yorkshire Office and work closely with our Highways division with an aspiration to significantly grow that part of the business.
