We have worked closely with other contractors and designers as part of a wider delivery team to ensure that all key bridges, retaining walls and other crucial structures were widened, strengthened or re-located in order that key commuter routes could accommodate greater capacity.
Our involvement in the TCAP project has been recognised by our peers in the civil engineering industry and seen us win several prestigious awards. This includes two CECA ‘Project of the Year’ awards for the great work we carried out at Lancashire Bridge and Captains Bridge, one CIHT ‘Highly Commended Project of the Year’ award for A6 Wellington Road and also a CIHT Environmental Award for the same project. In addition, in 2016, Bethell were also joint winners of CECA ‘Collaboration Award’ in recognition of our crucial part in the TCAP delivery team. Well done to our Contracts Manager, John Walker, and his team for winning such richly deserved accolades!
