What Will The Role Involve?
Bethell currently have an exciting opportunity for a Site Agent to join our No Dig Solutions division, with the main task of taking responsibility for the performance of our No Dig business unit site-based operations.
As our new Site Agent, you will possess skills that exhibit excellent health and safety standards, programme achievement, high quality standards, profit responsibility and other specific outcomes set out in the client’s brief. You will work collaboratively with our main works teams, internal staff, sub-contractors, operatives and other professionals to support the performance outcomes of each project.
As the Site Agent for our No Dig projects, you will develop and ensure implementation of robust safe systems of work, and implement all necessary safety measures on site to ensure that workplaces are safe. You will carry out regular on-site inspections to ensure Quality standards are being maintained. This will include investigation, reporting and closing out all non-conformance issues. In your position, it is a main duty to motivate the site workforce accordingly to ensure that the project meets its objectives.
What Key Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a site supervisory role
Temporary Works Supervisor accreditation
SEATS accreditation (Site Environmental)
SMSTS 5-day accreditation
Degree or HND equivalent in civil engineering
Experience in excavation, shafts, tunnels, auger bore, excavations, concreting
A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Project software is essential.
