Bethell have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us as a plant apprentice. Your main objectives will be to assist the Plant Manager and Plant and Transport Department to ensure plant and transport hire and associated invoices / administration is dealt with quickly and efficiently in accordance with Company Procedures. You will have full training while in your role, and will be given the opportunity to progress your career within our plant and transport departments.
As our plant apprentice you will place plant Orders ensuring that the necessary equipment is delivered to the correct site, correct specification and within the specified time frame. You will maintain all data records according to the Company’s QA procedures. File or scan all tickets, delivery notes, off hire sheets as required.
Skills and knowledge
•A desire to work in the Construction Industry
•A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products / internet and email
•Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills
•Highly accurate with a good attention to detail
•Numerate
•Systematic and logical
