Bethell have been successful in securing a £1.3m external works contract at the new £600m CCGT power station at Carrington, Manchester. Work at the project has been ongoing for the past three years and completion is expected in Spring 2016. The external works contract has been awarded by the consortium building the new power plant, Spanish civil engineering giant Duro Felguera and French energy specialists, Alstom. Our contract involves installing over 5 kilometres of kerbs and edgings and lying over 8,500 tonnes of macadam and asphalt. The 20 week contract is expected to commence in November 2015.
