Thank you to the tireless efforts of the team, as we are proud to announce that Bethell are ISO 50001:2018 certified!
Sustainability forms part of our core values and as we progress on our journey to become carbon net-zero by 2050, we seek to continually improve the efficiency of our energy usage as an organisation in everything we do across HQ and our sites.
This accreditation now sits alongside our suite of ISO Management Systems and demonstrates our commitment to reducing our impact on carbon emissions.
Bethell Construction have attained the ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management Systems certification, which will stand alongside our ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 HSQE Management Systems. The implementation of the ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System will help Bethell to collect company-wide energy data, set targets and objectives, and measure results which will ultimately help Bethell’s more efficient usage of energy, throughout the business.
Martin Burke, Senior HSQE Manager, Bethell Group
By being ISO 50001:2018 compliant, we will seek to convert to using renewable energy where possible across all our sites, offices, and projects moving forward, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.
On Friday, at the Construction Apprenticeship Awards, Bethell was honoured to take home the Construction Apprenticeship Medium/Large Employer of the Year award, a testimony to our commitment to growing our own talent and investing in apprenticeships.
