Double Award from Manchester City Council

We have recently been awarded two contracts from Manchester CC with a combined value of £0.75m.

Bethell have been appointed by Manchester City Council to carry out improvements to the Lake Car Park and create a new Tree Top Trek Path at Heaton Park, a Grade II landscape in Manchester.

Our Civils team are working to improve the Car Park next to the South boundary of the park by resurfacing the majority of the site from gravel to conservation materials, carrying out drainage works and installing new ‘Pay & Display’ tickets machines with the associated signage.

Works are also being carried out around the new Treetop Trek, a spectacular aerial adventure which is now located near the North Car Park. We are creating a new footpath which will connect the Car Park and the Tree Top Trek allowing access to the attraction.

As well as improving areas within the park, our surfacing division have been appointed to improve and resurface 680 metres of footpath and install new kerb lines to Heaton Park Road.
