Bolton MBC have confirmed Bethell’s appointment as one of their Framework Partners for Highway Services for the next four years.
Not only have Bethell been successful in their current works category for resurfacing works which they have successfully delivered since 1998 but they have also succeeded in two further categories, New Highway Works up to £2.0m and, also, Bridges and Highway Structures Works up to £1.5m. The new Framework commences on 18th August 2014.
Vinny O’Dowd, Managing Director, stated “This is tremendous news for the Company as it guarantees a solid core of our forward workload until 2018 and most probably beyond this date as there is an option to extend the contract period. There is also an added benefit in such that other Greater Manchester local authorities can utilise this framework to procure highway services and we hope to be involved in additional work opportunities beyond the borough of Bolton as other councils take advantage of securing work under this Framework”.
