What Will The Role Involve?

Bethell currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our operations team. You will report into the Operations Director and the head of the Company’s planning function, providing all the necessary technical expertise in software management and internal stakeholder liaison, supporting programme management on various large-scale infrastructure, waste water, highways and local authority framework projects.

If you are successful in securing the Planner position, you will work with operational and preconstruction/estimating staff to address appropriate planning and coordination arrangements with client partners, design partners, subcontractors, and other professionals to support operational process and drive cost efficiency.

You will assist in the management of key project deliverables such as critical path identification & interrogation, tracking contract progress, amendment of programme to reflect change and as-built programme records.

What Key Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?

Essential

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the civil engineering, highways or waste water industry

Degree or HND equivalent in civil engineering

Experience in wastewater infrastructure, groundworks, local authority highways, and highways structures.

A high level of proficiency in P6 planning software is essential

Understanding of NEC 3 and 4 contracts and programme requirements

Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Background in project controls implementation.

Desirable

·Knowledge of Microsoft Project
