What Will The Role Involve?

Bethell currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Lead to join our operations team. You will report into the Operations Director and head the Company’s planning function, providing all the necessary technical expertise in software management and internal stakeholder liaison, supporting programme management.

If you are successful in securing the Planning Lead position, you will work with operational and preconstruction/estimating staff to address appropriate planning and coordination arrangements with client partners, design partners, subcontractors, and other professionals to support operational process and drive cost efficiency.

You will assist in the management of key project deliverables such as critical path identification, tracking contract progress, amendment of programme to reflect change and as-built programme records. 

What Key Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?

Essential

·Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry

·Degree or HND equivalent in civil engineering

·Experience in local authority highways, clean and wastewater infrastructure, groundworks, and highways structures.

·A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Project software is essential

Desirable

·Knowledge of Primavera P6
