Established in 1865, Bethell combines experience with the latest innovation and technology to provide our clients with economic solutions in an integrated way covering the multi-utility and civil engineering sectors. Our in-house team of multi-utility designers take great pride in providing outstanding quality to all our clients, operating in an open and honest way.
In December 2020, Bethell opened our first Yorkshire office in Morley, Leeds, signifying our commitment as a business to become the ICP of choice for our clients in the Yorkshire region. In 2021, we were awarded our first residential contract award in the region, later followed by our first industrial & commercial contract award in 2022 for our client Gooding Group.
With major expansion plans across the Group for 2023 to expand our workforce by 30%, and to develop & nurture our relationships with our existing & new clients, Bethell Utility Services hope to increase our foothold in the Yorkshire region, expanding our services to housebuilders, industrial and commercial clients in the area.
We are a long-established, experienced and impartial ICP, committed to growing our presence in the Yorkshire region, with a new depot opening this year.
Vicki Dunn, Business Development Manager (Yorkshire)
Vicki Dunn, Bethell Utility Services Business Development Manager for Yorkshire, sat down with us to discuss the importance of regional exposure in Yorkshire, and how Bethell is expanding our capabilities to meet the growing demands of housebuilders and commercial clients in the region.
“We are a long-established, experienced and impartial ICP, committed to growing our presence in the Yorkshire region, with a new depot opening this year. Our reputation is backed by feedback from clients confirming we deliver to a high standard on time and on budget. Bethell is best placed to provide a fully comprehensive multi-utility quote, as we work with all IDNOs, IGTs and NAV companies to offer the most competitive solution. We have the capability to include telecoms, fibre, gas, water, electric, and all heating types and also offer quotes for 278 works.”
“Our people are our greatest asset and we pride ourselves on our in-house capability, with experienced local personnel delivering Yorkshire projects– ensuring we have control across all aspects of delivery for our customers. As Bethell’s exposure in the Yorkshire region continues to grow, we’ve recently appointed a dedicated regional Multi Utility Designer and Project Manager, based at our office in Leeds, Morley, who will be ready to meet with developers and talk through designs. Personally, I hold many years of experience working with developers in the Yorkshire area, understanding the client’s needs and ways of working. As we continue to expand, we are targeting our recruitment programmes to the Yorkshire region, linking with local skills and employment bodies as we strive to make a positive impact on the local economy.”
We’ll be looking forward to welcoming residential clients all over the region to our Yorkshire Developer Day on Wednesday 26th April at the Thorpe Park Spa & Hotel in Leeds. Please contact vicki.dunn@bethell.co.uk to register your interest for the event.
On Thursday 13th February, Trainee Site Engineer Mueen Uddin received the Engineering Apprentice of the Year Award from The University of Salford at their Apprenticeship Awards evening at the Etihad Stadium!
